Avantages

They give you a computer, so if you NEED a job, there are worse places to use for an internet connection while cruising Indeed for your next gig.

Inconvénients

Fractured management. No budget. Hemorrhaging employees. Everything is done backward. Rock bottom morale across all teams. No project management. Terrible benefits across all levels. Uninspiring and weak leadership DT. Crazy controlling and abusive top creatives. No communication and political tactics modeled after Bond villains. Total inexperience and incompetence driving key decisions and strategy. Bad deals abound within and without. Would be surprised if the company survives the next twelve months. Would be surprised if leadership lasts another six months. Ask yourself before considering a job here "Why does this channel still exist?" and accept that the company is designed to permit a small group to take advantage of Univision while doing the bare minimum to service the small number of cable viewers sticking around to watch the channel circle the drain.

Avantages

The people I worked with were the best part of the job

Inconvénients

The restructuring served only the needs of the new CEO. Tons of people were furloughed for no reason other than "he didn't like Austin"

Avantages

Some of the people that have been at El Rey for a long time are nice, normal people trying to do their best.

Inconvénients

Psychotic creative management, specifically the CCO who is an abusive MONSTER; constantly shifting priorities; a celebrity leader who comes in and out of the picture at a whim, changing everything; rampant nepotism with highly unqualified managing people with far more experience; a toxic culture where abusive emails, yelling, and other childish behavior is not only condoned by senior management, but encouraged.
