Avantages

Lack of Specialist Recognition – Despite my qualifications, efforts, and dedication, there is a significant disparity in salary policies and professional growth opportunities compared to other company departments. Latvian specialists receive lower compensation and insufficient acknowledgment for their contributions. Unmet Promises on Salary Adjustments – Management has repeatedly made commitments regarding salary increases, yet these promises are consistently postponed or ignored without explanation. This practice creates distrust and reduces employee motivation.

Inconvénients

Communication and Leadership Gaps – There is a persistent lack of effective internal communication between management and employees. Important company decisions are often communicated too late or not at all, making it difficult to align with company goals. Additionally, constructive feedback and clear guidance from management remain scarce. Work Environment and Employee Well-being – A company thrives when its employees feel valued and supported. However, the current workplace environment does not foster appreciation, motivation, or professional development.

Avantages

There are some great people and interesting projects. The day-to-day work is rarely boring. The work experience you gain here could help you land a great job at a competitive aerospace and defense company. A lot of people have been able to use their experience at Edge as a springboard for their careers at other companies.

Inconvénients

You will be severely underpaid for your labor. HR will only allow one raise per year, and it feels like pulling teeth to get a raise that matches the cost-of-living increase, even if you're a high performer. Management is out of touch, and the engineering department is a mess with no organizational structure. A once great company is trying to ride out its prior success until it gets acquired and passes off the mess to someone else. Now, Redwire is caught holding the bag.
