      Avantages

      There are no pros. They don’t care about their employees. It’s all about image.

      Inconvénients

      Everything. They only care about what looks best and at the expense of employees. You aren’t allowed to have personal boundaries. Patrons are entitled brats because of upper management’s obsession with keeping them happy at any cost (that includes YOUR boundaries!) I’ve seriously never seen so many people get so serious over a library. The schedule SUCKS. The pay is low. They take the “servant” part of “public servant” a little too literally.

      Avantages

      Lots of downtime, very chill bosses, slow paced, okay salary for BR, good first/last job. Benefits are good, too

      Inconvénients

      The schedule sucks. We get time off, which is nice, but you have to accrue it

      Avantages

      Better pay than a Tech I and in certain departments this position comes with better hours.

      Inconvénients

      Library Technician II and III positions are few and far between.
