Avantages

The culture of this environment is like no other job I've experienced. Everyone here is extremely friendly and go out of their way to try and help you, it genuinely feels like a family. Upper management has an open door policy and always encourage you to ask questions and bring ideas. The pay is very competitive with many benefits. Company trips to Hawaii or Las Vegas, and Friday lunches. Kitchens are always stocked with snacks and you can make requests for your favorite snacks!

Inconvénients

The parking lot gets filled pretty quickly and if you leave for lunch, you will most likely struggle finding another spot.

Avantages

Overall a great place to work. Since day 1, I've been encouraged to pursue different projects and ideas; it's very easy to take ideas and run with them. On top of that, people will never turn you down if you want to talk with them, so it's a wonderful place to learn and hone your skills. The best part is how personable each and every single person at EPCVIP is. The founders will never turn you away from their doors.

Inconvénients

There's some reluctance to adopt new ways of doing things, since people are so good at their jobs. Some processes definitely can be optimized, but it'll take some alignment within different departments to pursue these goals.

Avantages

On the brighter side, the people here are genuinely great. Most colleagues are the kind of people you're happy to bump into by the coffee machine—friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Though, like in any large family, there are a couple of exceptions. Tech-wise, we're on the cutting edge, always exploring and adopting the latest technologies and tools, which is pretty exciting.

Inconvénients

There's a noticeable struggle with management in our company. It often feels like we're trying to navigate without a map—our goals and tasks are a bit like shifting sands, unclear and changing unexpectedly. Even though there's a lot of talk about being open and transparent, it sometimes feels like we're not getting the full picture. We're also caught between methods: officially, we're all about Agile Scrum, but in reality, it's a mixed bag, with some teams working in a way that feels a lot more like the old-school Waterfall process.
