Avantages
Work-life balance Learning opportunities Promotions (It is also a con as irrespective of performance, one must take assessment) Leaves Some projects pay shift allowance
Inconvénients
Service-based managers who joined this company, only to ruin employee's lives. These managers don't care about well-being but rather keep pushing their agenda. Useless extra work like ENGX assessment, which takes out valuable work hours from team members who are already working under pressure If you are unlucky, some projects don't pay shift allowance even when you work in shifts. Here DM/PM are dictators, who go against policies to prevent shift allowance or other incentives just so they can hog more margin Impact awards got corrupted. Now some winners are repetitive and those are management pets who win for not doing any value-add Earlier Epam used to relocate to other countries, however, their strategic shift is to bring more business offshore to mint higher margins, so no more on-site (though managers travel frequently on business trips) Poor salary hikes Worst of all is their payroll, insurance, healthcare and referral policies. Referrals get auto-rejected without any reason. It's just a PR to show but actual business rules are so complex that I doubt if anyone ever got success in referring and receiving a bonus Cost cutting, cost cutting, cost cutting everywhere. Cheap New Year gifts and award incentives
