Avantages
* Office is acceptable * Mid to low salary
Inconvénients
* Upper Management is terrible, most important decisions come from CIS offices (Minsk made most of it) so you get a ton of their subpar mentality, and all arbitration or disputes will forever benefit the company and never the employee. * Middle Management is equally awful, they make promises that they never uphold saying that the approval is not done by them, or they try to force their way by threats. * Projects are boring, dull and you learn nothing, usually old technologies, or support for legacy systems. Epam takes whatever project not any other company would take. * Absurd rotation, as this is a "cost objective" company, many projects end up rotating to CIS countries as they are cheaper. * Bureaucracy for anything and everything, poorly done micromanagement by people that have no idea what they are doing, other than thinking they are big shots. * Pay attention to sneaky clauses on the contracts, they tend to include resignation clauses. * Opportunities for growing are scarce, and more often than not any upper positions are only meant for local people.
