Avantages
- As long as you could get your job done, you are quite free. No one really care what you do, eg, it is ok taking a nap in working hour
- Colleagues are friendly
- If you work on-site, the working hour is usually flexible
- Very stable, if you don't care too much about salary and personal growth, it is a probably a good place to stay
Inconvénients
- Most projects are small government projects. Not good for personal growth.
- Most senior programmers and system analysts have weak technical skills(They can't even use a version control properly) and no one cares about work quality and good practices.
- Most projects have tight schedule and OT(no pay) is common
