Avantages

You can do whatever you want. You can get paid. You can learn a lot about how a company shouldn't operate. Great employee retention - if you want a pay raise simply threaten to quit, and you'll automatically be promoted and your number will be matched! Pro: if you are an older white man, you should work here. These are the most valued employed at Dynamic Yield, and the only ones that are listened to.

Inconvénients

-No maternity leave policy -No paternity leave policy -No bereavement leave policy -Inappropriate holidays off (example: Columbus day and not MLK) -Zero humanity -Toxic toxic leadership -Product is flimsy at best -Paralyzing amounts of top-down mistrust. Not one department can make any decisions without it going all the way up the chain of command. -Open discriminatory behaviors.

Avantages

Lots of competent people and a tolerant, egalitarian company culture. Mastercard's ownership has also been a net positive, as they are heavily invested in the product and expanding the customer base.

Inconvénients

Some processes are slower after being acquired by Mastercard. I would no longer describe DY as a "nimble startup"
