Avantages

some line managers are supportive and encouraging but their hands are tied with what they can do for you because of senior management power/ego trips.

Inconvénients

- move from remote to hybrid working expecting people in the office despite hiring them on a different contract. - C-suite leaders are out of touch and condescending. Unwilling to engage with ‘low level’ employees as they think they are better than them. - Too much focus on profit over providing the service - Toxic environment within teams - HR gloss over issues. Constantly ask for and receive negative feedback and then ignore it and never speak of it again - Staff morale at an all time low. Everyone is being so rude to each other and there is a lot of politics even at lower levels. - Outdated policies and procedures. A tick box organisation with no genuine care for their staff. - If you go to HR with an issue, they get to chose wether or not to reply to you. If they do, they will take weeks to do so.

Avantages

- If you’re in the CEO’s inner circle, congratulations, you’ve basically got tenure. - You’ll get front-row seats to some of the finest displays of arrogance in the industry. It’s like a masterclass, really. - Different rulebook for every level. Keeps things “exciting.” - Watching sackable behaviour being not only tolerated but rewarded is a rare experience you won’t get everywhere.

Inconvénients

- If you’re not part of the chosen few, prepare to feel like an extra in someone else’s show. - Favouritism isn’t subtle. It’s the company culture. - Leadership clings on long past their sell-by date — “put out to pasture” would be a mercy. - The C-suite operates like a mates’ reunion dinner — if you’re not in the club, forget it. - Standards and accountability? Only for the lower ranks. Different rules apply depending on your level.
