Avantages
I was initially attracted to Distractify for their startup mentality and creative direction, however, I felt duped after a week of being there. Management is strongly incompetent, lacking any real knowledge of the industry or how to position the company. Creative strategy is, "Let's copy what Buzzfeed is doing a year later." No sense of job security as management fired 80% of its staff without warning and without severance. The only pro I can think of is that I got fired before I quit on my own.
Inconvénients
- worst benefits, they should be embarrassed by what they consider "health insurance" - CMO, CRO, and CFO have no clue what they are doing and waste money on video studios that never get used, a new kitchen for the remaining 5 employees and salaries for themselves - management instilled constant fear in its employees and talked badly about its staff to other current employees - management spent more time obsessing over competitor websites than promoting its own - no bonus even though we were promised them - management lies and is extremely deceitful
