Avantages
1.) Free snacks 2.) You get to work from home twice per week
Inconvénients
1.) I was hired to manage large existing accounts, but instead I was asked to cold call accounts that DevelopIntelligence "may have" worked with in the past. 2.) Good communication skills are not treasured at this company. The few people in leadership roles do not communicate well, and when they try to, they are extremely obscure. Nothing is black and white which leads to lots of confusion. 3.) During my transition out of my role, I gave the company two week's notice. I asked several times for the opportunity to hand over my few accounts to someone during those two weeks. I was not allowed to tell customers I was leaving until the very last day of employment. 4.) This is a technical training company that outsources their instructor pool (except for two instructors who work full time and who are awesome and very talented.) I only had the opportunity to sell a few new deals and with each one, something went wrong because of the outsourced instructor's lack of professionalism. Granted, this company does have about 5 outstanding instructors, but the fact of the matter is - they need a lot more than that. 6.) Shortly after I started working there, I was told that everyone in the office had to pick a cleaning assignment because the CEO did not want to invest in having a cleaning person come to the office once per week. Tasks included cleaning toilets, windows, counter-tops, as well as vacuuming floors and mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors.
