Toxic top level culture. New CIO or CEO basically runs the place like a tyrant. Wont take advice from engineering staff and belittles you when you make a suggestion. For a small company there are plenty of politics and you will need to navigate them almost at all times. After mass firings and people leaving and let go naturally there is a sense of fear and distrust leading more talented people to go.
