I absolutely loved what I was writing about, and the staff was extremely supportive and helpful. It was an interesting opportunity that I have never forgotten, and neither have the individuals I wrote about.

The staff didn't seem too happy when I was there - just a general observation. They never really told me why, and were always professional. Also, when I was leaving, the paper was going over a lot of revisions.

The people you work with are everything. They are some of the most amazing people.

They add way too much on your schedule and when you ask for a raise they deny you. When you come with a better idea they won't hear it. And they wonder why the newspaper is dying.
