Avantages
People are nice, but unfortunately they do seem to be brainwashed. During my 'assessment day'(which was basically going with an account manager and his colleagues to a different city, paying myself for the train there - I know I was stupid to do it, or naive which is what you do when you look for a job).
Inconvénients
- on commission pay (and you are basically a street foundraiser) - if you don't persuade people to donate money, you won't earn anything. There is no basic pay, so there is no financial security for you (how will you pay your bills if there are no sale? They will defend it saying 'on commission pay' allows for meritocracy within the company (to differentiate between high and low performers). - you will have to cover costs of your transport across Yorkshire, UK - they find vulnerable people (they like if you are like a sponge - easy to be lied and manipulated) and brainwash and use them like donkeys ... - they tell you it's a fast-tracking programme to make you a manager in months - sounds appealing, but let's be realistic - they advertise the job as a marketing assistant/sales assistant (you are a street foundraiser!) = lies, lies, lies, lies..... If you are you really looking for real career opportunities, do yourself a favour, and keep applying for jobs. Good luck !
