Avantages
DAS is very pro worker. The owner goes out of his way to provide for his employees and gives back to them very generously in benefits and support. Very good benefits if you are hired on directly to DAS. If you are a hard worker you will be recognized and maybe even promoted to a supervisor position. Opportunities for overtime. Managers are very flexible and will work with you when needed. Paid weekly. They'll hire anybody. Seriously, anybody.
Inconvénients
At the warehouse level the culture is poor. There are many clicks and everyone gossips. People here are petty. High turnover rate. The demographic; which is mostly under-educated drones who spend most of each paycheck at the club or bar. Operations at the Salt Lake warehouse are hampered by upper management in Pennsylvania who are constantly making bad decisions for us instead of trusting in the people THEY selected to run things here. Upper management in Pennsylvania seems out of touch. Very low glass ceiling at the warehouse level so there isn't much room for promotion.
