Avantages

• Some of the legacy engineering teams were talented and mission-driven. • The product had potential, and early-stage collaboration across teams was productive. • Flexible work culture and decent technical exposure depending on your role.

Inconvénients

• The post-acquisition phase brought instability. Strategic decisions were influenced by a new leadership group that didn’t understand the core business or culture. • Valuable engineers and contributors were let go, leading to major talent drain and demoralization across teams. • A short-term vision overrode long-term growth, with politics often taking precedence over performance. • Many of those who influenced these decisions are no longer with the company, but the damage they caused remains. • Morale, clarity of direction, and engineering ownership have all declined significantly.

Avantages

Working at CoreStack has been an incredible journey of growth, challenge, and reward. From day one, I felt welcomed and valued—not just as an employee, but as a contributor to something truly visionary. The leadership team is transparent, approachable, and genuinely committed to employee well-being and innovation. What sets CoreStack apart is its vibrant, collaborative culture where ideas are not only welcomed but celebrated. There's a real emphasis on autonomy and trust, allowing team members to own their work and take bold steps. I’ve had more career growth here in a year than I did in several years elsewhere. The tech stack is cutting-edge, the pace is energizing, and the mission—to help enterprises thrive through cloud governance—is meaningful and clearly making waves across the industry. And the people? Bright, driven, and supportive. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of high performance and human kindness. If you’re looking to do impactful work with incredible people in a company that’s on an exciting trajectory—CoreStack is the place

Inconvénients

High pace value generation and innovation may lead to a sense of burnout, if individually people don't have the discipline to work-life balance. Company emphasizes and creates enough opportunities for work-life balance, while some subset of people burning themselves out.
