Avantages

Unfortunately, I could not find any positives during my time here. Believe me I tried. With one exception many of the employees I would happily work with again under different circumstances.

Inconvénients

Leadership creates an unhealthy work environment, marked by constant shifting priorities and a lack of clear direction. Work-life balance? Non-existent. You will be emailed, texted, or called at any time of day, 24/7. On vacation? Using PTO? On your honeymoon? It doesn’t matter—expect a call. The company is understaffed and refuses to invest in improving the culture or processes in ways that would boost morale. Everyone who works here seems beaten down. They don't take the time to understand what employees need, let alone invest in employee development or professional growth. Don’t expect to attend conferences, complete online certifications, or have meaningful one-on-ones. These are viewed as unimportant, unproductive, and a waste of time and resources. There isn’t a clear vision for the company. Decisions are frequently reversed, creating uncertainty in daily operations. The company operates with top-down management, fostering a culture of micromanagement. A lack of subject matter experts in leadership positions further contributes to the dysfunction, stifling progress and innovation.

Avantages

- Office location (5 minutes from downtown Franklin.) - Relaxed dress code (Sometimes too relaxed.) - Employees (As another review said, "Employees are great, management is not".) - Work from home one day per week (Unless this has changed since I left.)

Inconvénients

- Working here your opinion counts for nothing. - No room to grow or move up in the company. Upper management likes to play favorites. - The company is cheap. If you have a B.S. degree from a respected university and you're looking to make $10-$12 per hour this company is for you. - No training or continuing education opportunities. If you want to continue to grow in your chosen field you will have to do it after hours on your own time. CoreCommerce does not send employees to conferences nor is upper management willing to buy books or other resources to help employees become better at what they do. - The company likes to outsource everything. I spent more time trying to communicate with someone outside of the US than I did working on client work. Unless you are a linguist expect lots of frustration. - Office is dirty and equipment is falling apart. I literally had a desk collapse on one side while I was working and sat in an office chair without wheels.
