I find that there are limitless opportunities for those who want to serve others and improve the quality of life for those in the state of Delaware. Connections has so many programs that our reach is wide and deep within every county in the state. From substance abuse treatment, to services for veterans and their families, to treatment for mental illness and family struggles that require the expertise of a family therapist, opportunities abound. We employ medical and behavioral staff, skilled, and unskilled employees, to care for our 40,000+ consumers.
Inconvénients
Sometimes people apply for positions for which they are not suited. They don't realize the level of patience that is needed, for example, to work with those who are suffering from persistent mental illnesses, and then they terminate their employment. As a result, we have a high turnover in some departments.
