Avantages
The people are cool, like a family. My boss, on a personal level was very understanding with personal matters and went about and beyond as a person. You get paid pretty well do very little. I had plenty of time to do personal things, and although internet is pretty restricted, I was able to get a lot done. I had very little supervision, so I got away with a lot. The schedule was great, as was the location of the office. PTO is generous. Training was fair. Good place to "get your feet wet" and gain some experience, but move on.
Inconvénients
Benefits are horrendous, the quarter/year end blackouts allow for NO holidays off at the end of the year. A lot of favoritism showed towards employees who know the "right people". If you are not one of them: forget it- you will never move forward. Too many "chiefs" who know very little about what we do on the day to day, but are extremely involved in terms of micro management. There is NO room to grow/learn/advance. People who work here for years, are pretty much doing the same thing forever, and others get hired above them, earning more, and doing less. its ridiculous. The sofware and programs used are outdated and forever crashing.
