Sub-standard pay. We are not talking $1-5/hr under the market value, but $8-16/hr under market value. Example: $16/hr in Mineapolis CompuCom versus $24-30/hr at competing companies hiring for IT. Benefits were not much, but at least they existed for fulltime positions. Unfortunately, their bare minimums plus sub-standard pay could add up to a financial crisis real quick. So you may be better off dying rather than going to the ER when you are stroking.
