Avantages
CMS is a fast-paced research-driven company with an excellent environment for both working and learning. Being a small company they have a unique atmosphere that everyone can contribute to regardless of title or experience. All the employees are extremely friendly and leadership maintains an open door policy. This is an excellent company to gain experience as a junior engineer or to drive new technology as a senior engineer. In addition, the benefit of the company being small means that no one has tunnel vision when it comes to their job. If there is another department or task that piques your interest, chances are you will be granted the opportunity to work on that task.
Inconvénients
Being a small company, they are not exempt from the handcuffs that comes with not having the same resources that larger companies may have. Budgets can be a slight hindrance to projects, where you may find yourself having to opt for the cheap option instead of the best option, equipment that will be used daily may not be the latest and greatest models and so on.
