Avantages

Benefits are very good. Childcare Cost Sharing, Tuition reimbursement, inexpensive gym membership and discount tickets to area attractions through Ceridian.

Inconvénients

Politics are at play around this company. They will unseat anyone who holds their feet to the fire, or they fill the position with incompetent people just to keep the knowledgeable employees from providing input. Doesn't seem safe for anyone to advance in the company because once you do it seems there is a target on your back. I've seen many competent people dismissed from their positions in less than a year. I realize that people sometimes rise to their incompetency, but this occurs every 6 months or so. Company is slow to react to anything whether it's filling vacated positions or updating and/or evolving technology. And that's just it...the company is always reacting....never leading. This company does it's best to get its moneys worth from its employees. In The Great Recession, our department alone has lost 28 employees in the last 2 years. Three were fired, four laid off and the rest quit, and there's more coming. I think that says something significant. This doesn't even count the customers who have left.

Job security. People are generally great.

Inconvénients

Job security was high because of so much turnover they couldn't let you go. Less leadership, more reactive management styles. too much red tape to get prospects through to close. Internal teams can hold up customer movements to close. Hourly pay.
