CombiMatrix is made up of people who truly care about giving their absolute best every single day. As a smaller sized company, there is a ton of camaraderie and single-minded dedication to providing the very best in molecular diagnostic testing for providers and their patients. Interdepartmental collaboration is refreshing after having been at large institutions with many silos. There is excellent transparency, and everyone has a voice. Creativity and quality work are rewarded and the company culture is a bit like a family.

We are a lean organization, and sometimes people are asked to wear many hats at once. With that said, it has helped us all focus on how to work smarter, not just harder.

One of the things I like most is the people. Everyone is very involved and passionate about what they do and take great pride in their work. We all work together, and we work together well (cross-departmentally too). Our individual contributions matter and don't get lost like they do at some other large corporations.

You have to work hard here, but it's very rewarding too.
