Avantages
No politics, no back-stabbing, just straight-forward nice smart people to work for, and with Supportive environment - if you're ever over-worked or overwhelmed, people will ALWAYS step in to help, however busy they are themselves Excellent learning opportunities - some of the brightest sparks in the business, you can learn a lot from senior management and Directors. Senior team genuinely listen and adapt to employees' changing needs e.g. introducing part time working and being 100% flexible about working from home etc Good career planning - reasonable objectives set straight away, open dialogue about development/progression No messing about in terms of the tools of the job - I had a new laptop, iphone and company credit card from day 1 Decent working hours -the office is usually empty by 6.30pm, which is unuusual in this industry Consultants can to an extent self-select the projects they are most interested in / passionate about - so the presence of less interesting though lucrative clients isn't a problem if you hand raise for new biz and projects that interest you Fair salaries and due consideration taken of raise requests
Inconvénients
There has been a lot of change over the years with offices closing and redundancies and so on - but most people can see why this has been necessary so it doesn't create too much bad feeling amongst remaining employees Not a training culture so prospects for very junior employees can be quite poor - focus is on immediately 'profitable' staff, though they are open about this at interview
