Avantages
None, and I've really tried to think of one.
Inconvénients
Too many to list them all but the disconnect between senior management and lower levels is astonishing. They simply refuse to listen to feedback or suggestions from below and continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. Staff morale was always on the floor when I was there and this was because the agents were driven into the ground with unachievable targets, no flexibility in terms of genuine reasons why performance didn't meet expectations and a hideous work/life balance. No benefits package of any kind, no sick pay, and a huge expectancy to do more than your contract requires. If you work additional hours then you get no thanks as it is simply the standard expectancy. If you arrive and leave on time for your shift then you are looked down on by the CEO and other senior managers and made to feel as though your job is at risk because you're not pulling your weight, regardless of how well you are doing compared to your peers. It sends shivers down my spine to think I might still be working there.
