Avantages
Great benefits and good pay. The mission statement is admirable. There are a lot of great people that work here. Parking is good for employees. The locations is good although there is always talk of the Seattle office relocating. They have the tools and resources to make a tremendous contribution to the child welfare field.
Inconvénients
The big buzz word around Casey is political and it certainly is. You either play managements game or they will make your life miserable. The IT department is like a black hole. Management consists of highly unqualified people that either work in a silo ignoring everyone around them or rule with an iron fist. Very dysfunctional "team". They manage their way up to the big wigs and stomp all over people to do it. Ironically they think this is invisible to the other employees but as you can see it is not. There are some exceptional people within the department that are a great asset to the company. Other departments are full of very qualified, dedicated and great people working hard towards the goals of the company. A downside is that if you ask management for specifcs of what work is being done to meet the organization objectives you won't get any concrete proof. It's a very top heavy company.
