Avantages

Excellent benefits, the PTO alone is much more than any company I've been employed with before.

Inconvénients

Where to begin?! When I was hired at Cardinal Health I was told that the Cardinal location in San Antonio had been closed and all of their business had been sent to the Houston offices and to expect overtime. I generally have no problem with overtime but we were averaging close to 35 hours of overtime EVERY WEEK. When you're working 16-18 hour shifts in a non-stop moving job with steel toe boots, you start to develop a lot of physical problems. We had a lot of employees having to go to the doctor due to foot pain, I personally would go home with numb toes every single night. Management played favorites and allowed certain employees to call out or leave whenever they wanted to all the time, one night on a Friday we had a massive order load and were already short handed, upon being told that we'd probably be working a 20 hour shift, every single woman on the shift "went home sick" after the first break but then were bragging the following Sunday about how they'd all planned it and went to the club. Employees that had 10-15 years of experience were quitting left and right, hardly any of the new-hires stayed longer than a month, when I'd finally had enough, I resigned only later to find out that management didn't appreciate people quitting and leaving them even shorter handed. Please note, if you quit, you're not rehire-able for the rest of your life.

Avantages

Excellent work-life balance with flexible work arrangements in many corporate and technology teams. Collaborative and supportive culture, where colleagues are knowledgeable, approachable, and willing to help each other succeed. Strong benefits package, including competitive healthcare, retirement benefits, and wellness programs. Meaningful work with real impact, contributing to healthcare technology and services that support hospitals, pharmacies, and patients nationwide. Opportunities to work on large-scale enterprise initiatives, modern cloud technologies, and cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to complex healthcare systems.

Inconvénients

Decision-making can be slow, as large enterprise initiatives often require approvals from multiple stakeholders, which can delay implementation. Complex organizational structure, making it challenging at times to navigate priorities, align across teams, and drive changes quickly

Avantages

-Remote (may be slowly moving away) - weekly pay - family-friendly/flexible. I didnt feel pressured to work if I had obligations and needed to take off - good managers

Inconvénients

-team members can be passive agressive on calls/talking over each other or arguing in teams chats, and speak negatively about others on calls. -tech team off shore. Makes it harder to get answers or have to schedule meetings only in the mornings. -no set structure or ground rules on team processes. They change rules on process on the fly. No approvals from leadership -Retention policy is very short. Saving work in multiple places and no real source of truth. - Gaps found after development - Teams lack experienced leaders who genuinely want to help others. -Claim to run agile but doesnt follow it. -not much diversity -benefits through the contracting company were not affordable at all
