      Avantages

      There are some intelligent people working at Cardean.

      Inconvénients

      Leadership is totally non-existent. The company does not know where it is going in the next 3 months, let alone multiple years. The student counts continue to decline and the company recently had an ultimatum from the board of directors to turn this around or "alternative" resolution would be sought. Additionally, the company also recently had a lay-off which is amazing considering the small size of it!

      Avantages

      there are regular benefits for all full time employees. They have nice Management

      Inconvénients

      Cardean Learning Group is no longer in business. There will be no future positions.

      Avantages

      Working there was a worthwhile experience only because I met a few co-workers who have turned out to be great friends. And there were definitely a few very talented people there.

      Inconvénients

      As someone else said, the company has virtually no direction. They seemed to switch strategies every few months. They hired lots of consultants who didn't seem to understand the business or how to execute what was needed. Departments operated in silos to a great degree and would make decisions about things that really should have been made by other people in other departments. Management turnover was very high. Ellis University, which they run, used to be affiliated with NY Institute of Technology, but I heard they got rid of that affiliation. Not sure why, but seems like a bad idea considering that the affiliation lent Ellis a lot of credibility which they can no longer leverage.
