Avantages
Large capable firm with generally good resources and a wide variety of experience opportunities. Chicago office has a very friendly work environment and overall positive and supportive culture..Benefits are on par with expectations.
Inconvénients
Somewhat unstable at times. Depth of skill in some studios was lacking - which impacted the growth opportunities for younger employees (ie lacked good examples, robust mentoring) and hampered the direction of leadership to accomplish ambitious tasks. Bonus structure was arcane and difficult for employees to understand. For example, eligibility for bonus in the first year based on time of hire was not adequately explained. Advancement for design staff is much more readily available than advancement to staff assigned technical duties.
