Avantages
CSC is huge. There's lots of opportunity to move both vertically and horizontally. In my particular division of the company the management is very hands-off and lets their people deal with customers directly. They support us and help us with sensitive issues or with paperwork. The autonomy is extremely helpful for those of us that are skilled professionals and don't need a middle-manager breathing down our necks.
Inconvénients
CSC is huge. You will need to actively pursue the information you need. If you are the type that wants very clear direction and to be told exactly what needs to be done then you may get frustrated. I should note that this only applies to my particular division, I don't know what the rest of CSC is like.
