      Avantages

      Great equipment and core facility services. It all depends if you end up in a group with a great boss (money, pressure, lab culture...)

      Inconvénients

      - administrative troubles - FedEx troubles all the time, "great" is you need to get some samples from collaborator abroad - Contract is for 1 year, sometimes have to be renewed several times per year for an unknown reason.

      They are recognized as a centre of excellence in the Czech Republic and on the European stage.

      Inconvénients

      Although many labs are international, you may still encounter Czech-language administrative processes and integration challenges, especially if you’re coming from further afield.

      Very professional environment, strong community, good for any research topic

      Inconvénients

      Among younger colleagues, there is often excessive rivalry, a ‘everyone for themselves’ mentality, and it is not very financially attractive.
