Avantages

Some good people at the ground level who try their best. You can learn fast because you are forced to deal with problems every day.

Inconvénients

The culture is toxic. Blame is everywhere and people watch their backs instead of working together. Senior leadership talk a good game, but when things go wrong they shift the story and push it down the chain. It felt like decisions were made to protect reputations, not to fix the real issues. HR is not there for employees. It felt like HR exists to back management, not to listen, not to help, and not to make things better. There is no real employee satisfaction, no trust, and no safe way to raise concerns without it coming back to bite you. Work is constant firefighting. Promises get made and then quietly dropped. Good people burn out or leave, and the same problems repeat.

Avantages

I wish I could think of any.

Inconvénients

This is the worst company I have ever worked for. I witnessed grown adults crying due to the way they were treated whilst working here. The was a toxic culture verging on bullying. It wasn't a good experience.

Avantages

Some good employees who are truly passionate about education, and making a difference in students/school staff lives.

Inconvénients

People: Colleagues simply don't show up to meetings and keep their cameras off. I find this quite unique that its part of the culture to not show up, not send any comms about not being able to attend. Culture: Pure toxic: most managers play games to avoid any blame if something goes wrong. When something goes right, everyone wants the credit/makes it their idea. Managers are basically absent for employees, which makes it challenging to know where to focus your attention. To highlight how blame works at Bromcom - I had something stolen from my desk whilst I visited the toilet, the company’s response was that I should have taken my possessions with me (thus, being my fault for not adhering to the company’s guidance). Etiquette: Colleagues simply don't show up to meetings and keep their cameras off (even with customers!) I find it quite unique that its part of the culture to not show up, not send any comms about not being able to attend. The company accepts it and doesn’t seem to care even about the staff's waste of time. Tech: As a company, they cannot build and maintain the basics. The system consistently crashes, and customers always complain - there's no urgency to fix these issues. HR: I wouldn’t bother communicating with them - zero care given.
