Avantages
Broadcom Corporation was known for it's innovation and provided great opportunities to work with very intelligent and skilled people. They also understood and supported a good work-life balance, and provided many facilities (including gyms, cafeterias, etc.) that helped with this. The best part was definitely the people...such great people. It's not much of a job when you consider you were working among "family."
Inconvénients
Broadcom Limited, previously Avago, is not the same company. Their interest is purely profit now and do not foster innovation. Instead, their focus is purely profit. When the CEO was asked during an all-hands meeting about company culture, his response was "When I was young and starting out, I didn't care very much about company culture. Now that I'm a CEO, I care even less. We pay you well to do a job, and that's enough." NO thank you.
