Avantages
- Teachers play video games and surf the web 5 hours a day - Fast internet connection - Kitchen and serviced bathrooms
Inconvénients
- Tech support staff doesn't speak English - Extra duties get passed out randomly (with no extra pay) - Ridiculous work contracts require a 135,000 baht "penalty" for leaving - There are two managers, one Thai and one western. They are both gone all the time. When there is an issue, they go into AT&T mode and start calling people for information second-hand. A terrible way to manage, unprofessional and ineffective. - The classrooms at the Thai schools are total anarchy. Students jump around, chit-chat. Thai teachers give the answers for the students, so nobody is learning. The tech support at the schools wait until the last minute to do their job, wasting half the class to troubleshoot. - The curriculum is one to two levels ahead of the students, because they are so far behind. It's like teaching astrophysics to a monkey. - The scheduling is a nightmare. Everyone waits and does nothing from 7:30 to 8:30. Then the schedule comes out from 8:50-9:30. Meanwhile, classes start at 8:30. How does this happen?
