Avantages

- Flexible remote work policy. - A lot of free time available between the projects. - Good place for entry-level professionals to develop, with access to varied projects and a budget of €1,000 per year for courses and certifications.

Inconvénients

- Success often depends more on leaving a good impression on clients than truly solving their problems. - 1:1 meetings with DMs are often nonexistent, leading to a lack of guidance and support. - Feedback during reviews can be subjective, with little connection to actual performance or contributions. - Threats of PIP are used as intimidation tactics, even when unjustified. - Overtime is encouraged but not compensated. - Promotions and raises are more about the relationship with the DM than actual performance or skill. - Remaining vacation days are micromanaged at the end of the year. - Changing your DM is theoretically possible but rarely happens in practice. - DMs often lack the skills or knowledge to evaluate employees fairly, especially if they aren’t involved in the same projects. - Engagement Reviews are inconsistently applied—some teams have no idea what they are. - Salary increases are negligible, failing to even keep up with inflation. - Top management is aware of systemic problems but does little to address them.

Thank you for your review. You refer to a different company, namely BearingPoint Inc. Our company, BearingPoint headquartered in Europe, has been a separate legal entity and conducted a management buyout in 2009. Its development since then is very positive, see our Annual Report: https://www.bearingpoint.com/files/BearingPoint_Annual_Report_24.pdf

Avantages

Good pay, good location, other employees are good to work with.

Inconvénients

This organization is deeply mismanaged. The four U.S. partners are consistently at odds with one another and unable to collaborate, often dragging employees into their conflicts. The lead U.S. partner regularly makes inappropriate, sexist remarks, despite being a father to daughters, creating a hostile environment. Employees are encouraged to report issues to HR, but concerns are routinely dismissed, and no meaningful action is taken. Speaking up only puts a target on your back, several employees who voiced concerns were included in subsequent rounds of layoffs. The global leadership team is fully aware of the ongoing dysfunction, especially at the partner level, yet chooses to ignore it in favor of their own career advancement. This lack of accountability at every level makes for an incredibly toxic and demoralizing workplace.
