Avantages

World class Professional leadership. Great company in its day. The company is now owned by another business entity. However prior to its sale, there was tremendously positive morale. I appreciated the professionalism of the management staff and the support from fellow employees.

Inconvénients

None. There wasn't much wrong with Balboa Insurance. The company was well structured; provided effective leadership and positive direction. It's was unfortunate after many years in business that it to an end.

Avantages

Balboa is now owned by QBE Americas. I can't speak to the new company because I was let go prior to new ownership. What I can attest to is the people I worked with at Balboa were great. I'm glad to have met many new friends and I learned so much while working there. I was given opportunities while there.

Inconvénients

There were communication issues between senior management and staff. There were also issues with favoritism. Many promises were not followed through on. There was poor oversight of staff and audit department was not up to standards of other leading insurance companies.
