Avantages
Those who work on the actual floor in the trenches and not in upper management are a delight. Immediate team members are passionate, want to grow skills to perform better, and are very enjoyable to be around. The products are pretty good. They can be better if we stop outsourcing everything to China and have actual developers in our headquarters.
Inconvénients
Upper management is kind of a joke. Those who sit in the private offices (VPs and up) are so out of touch with what is actually happening in the office. There is no transparency within the company. Major layoffs and no one wants to talk about it. They fired the one person in upper management who cared about employee satisfaction and career advancement. The CEO is rarely in the headquarters office so he has no idea what happens in the office. He only hears what his minions tell him. Stop being so cheap about everything and trying to nickle and dime your employees.
