Avantages
The best part about AutoAnything is the people. Everyone is so friendly, willing to teach what they know and lend a hand. Plus, HR is extremely accessible for everything - the good, the bad, and the ugly. There is plenty of room for advancement if you want it and are willing to ask for it. There is a lot of recognition for good work, but if you want that to be anything beyond a pat on the back or a fresh new pin for your shirt, you have to put yourself out there. That works fine for me and many, but shyer people may feel like there's no room for them to advance. Overall, I enjoy coming here most every day and look forward to what the future brings.
Inconvénients
Promotions have to be asked for and they don't always happen quickly. HR processes like this are much slower now that AutoZone is heavily involved with everything. There is also not that much vacation time - only 6 paid holidays a year ( no xmas eve, really?), 3 sick days and accumulated PTO. The PTO amount is fine but a few more holidays to actually be able to travel and spend time with family would be appreciated. Pay is not great, especially with 5 hours of "optional" OT required in order to get your full pay. Pay people what they're worth at a 40 hour work week, then let them work more if they want/need
