Avantages
The practice managers are extremely competent - they lead the delivery and sales of a portfolio single handed. Sales is mostly a decorative title - and primary account management is done by practice leads. If you are join the delivery side of the org. you have the excellent chance of contributing to service portfolio development, team building, customer interfacing and running ops
Inconvénients
Suffers from short vision. Cannot see anything past a quarter. Hence most of the effort is spent in fire fights, and addressing current situation and not planning/investing for future
