Avantages
You work along Engineers with plenty of experience and most are very helpful
Inconvénients
You are left alone with the customer with no support or training. Still they will expect you to finish on time. When it is time for the annual appraisal your manager will guess what you were working on because he/she has not technical clue of what you do so they will give you a mediocre score enough not to give you a pay rise or promotion. Management will only come to you when there are problems not before. You have plenty of bosses but no one to help you. They expect you to do technical job plus all the admin work that managers should be doing. Permanent staff are being paid peanuts while contractors are treated like stars. They expect you to work in their offices even if they don't have working conditions, like enough parking and IT equipment. No bonuses...managers get all you will only do the legwork! avoid at all costs!
