Avantages

- Most people are brilliant and nice. - Remote work - Opportunity to wear many hats and work cross-functionally. - HR does a good job in trying to maintain employee engagement through virtual events and provides door-dash credits sometimes. - Apple equipment is provided and they are not stingy when it comes to purchasing necessary and useful software if it will improve your work efficiency.

Inconvénients

- Mediocre leadership at the top with an extreme lack of emotional intelligence and professionalism that bleeds down (with the exception of a few). - Poor management is overlooked and sometimes even rewarded. Leadership treats the CEO like a parent who is afraid to discipline their child and lets him do whatever no matter what the consequences are on anybody. - Constant change of priorities, projects and expectations that are not communicated. - Lack of transparency to employees about whats going on in the company. A quarterly all hands meeting well presented will fool anyone and mask the fact that in reality there is no focus or vision. - Your opinion doesn't matter and your voice is not heard, no matter if you're speaking for yourself, your team or the customer. - No acknowledgement or accountability for the issues mentioned above, instead they'll make you think you are the problem. - You're just a set of hands because at the end of the day all they want is for you to do what you are told. This is not the place where you want to be if what you're looking for is professional growth and a solid and healthy professional environment.

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us. I’m happy to respond to your comments and also share ways we’ve been proactively working to address some of your concerns. In the 25 years that it took the founding team to build their prior tech startup into a $1.2 billion success story, they have continued to leverage their experience and work ethic to AnswerRocket’s mission. We’ve signed contracts with very large organizations like Unilever, Mondelez, Coty, and other Fortune 500 companies. Our customers tell us that our solution is highly differentiated and uniquely positioned to solve an acute pain for them in automating analysis using AI and machine learning. We are still in the early days of this space and believe this is just the beginning. Additionally, creating more access to our CEO and Senior Leadership team has been a priority for us. In addition to monthly Town Halls, we’ve recently added weekly CEO fireside chats and 3 virtual and in-office lunches throughout the month to build community and connection. Having customers join Town Halls to talk directly to the team about the problems we are solving for them has been received especially well. We’ve upgraded our benefits during this most recent enrollment period and continue to benchmark pay and benefits against industry competitors. We’ve also implemented internal processes in the form of weekly and monthly check-ins to encourage more frequent conversations around career development and growth. We still have a ways to go but feel inspired by our continued commitment to our employees and our customers as we grow. If you are open to a conversation, I would encourage you to send me an email or add time on my calendar for us to discuss ways we can support you further. Thanks again for your perspective and feedback. It helps make AnswerRocket a better company for everyone. -Mitchel, People Operations Manager

Avantages

Very small company and having a lot of AI tools to play with.

Inconvénients

Serious red flag about how the company is run and how employees are evaluated. The performance review process is conducted in an open forum format, which sounds collaborative in theory but in practice creates an environment where outcomes are driven by favoritism and nepotism rather than actual work quality. Employees who have strong personal relationships with senior leadership consistently receive better evaluations regardless of their contributions, while others who deliver solid work but lack that social capital are overlooked. Senior leadership also struggles with the fundamentals of running a startup consulting firm. Strategic decisions feel reactive rather than deliberate, and there is a heavy reliance on AI tooling to produce deliverables that fall short of enterprise-grade standards. For clients expecting sophisticated, bespoke consulting work, this is a meaningful gap. The culture ultimately rewards those who are "likeable" to the right people at the top, rather than those who are competent and hardworking. If you value a merit-based environment where your work speaks for itself, this may not be the right fit. Favoritism in reviews, weak leadership, below-par work quality masked by AI tools
