Avantages
Never a dull moment. If you thrive in a fast paced constantly changing environment Amazon is a great place to work. There are improvement opportunities everywhere and employees are encouraged to find them and find innovative solutions.
Inconvénients
The benefits package is fair, but taking time off can really be a challenge. It's not that it doesn't get approved, it's just that there are so many single owners in the company that you are either posing a risk by being off, or you are slammed with a ton of work when you return from vacation. Also the annual review process is outdated. Ranking employees and basing a lot of decisions on peer anecdotes leads to a lot of mistakes in my opinion. Lastly, people move around so much that it's hard to have consistent leadership. A new manager every few months isn't uncommon.
