Avantages
Amazon a place where you get to work with society's smart people, pay is very good here, hardly you find work pressure, very dynamic HR team, top class resources and great ambiance at every campus...etc
Inconvénients
nothing is perfect in this world and Amazon has its own cons!!! i will mention a few basing on my observation.........managers are chosen out of work floor experience rather that proper qualification ( its good to have manager with experience in similar fields but he/she must also have managerial qualification, being so will result in efficient work output rather than just getting the work done), very poor employee evaluation process currently stack ranking is followed, whereby employees get sabotaged with the peers, rather could work collectively for improvement. similar review process which were followed in microsoft (also in 60% of fortune 500's). microsoft's then CEO had to change the process as the span b/w 2001-2010 proved worse and let the company lose battle to apple and google in the race. Amazon is now in similar situation wherein similar technique is followed to review the employees! this change according to me will let amazon fall behind other companies if at all there's one in competition. in coming two years say by 2019. customer satisfaction might just transform to customer obsession if the employees are not satisfied morally in the company.
