Avantages
• Excellent leadership • Competitive pay and benefits • Good work environment • Intelligent and quality individuals on staff who respect each other Having worked for or with many companies over the past few decades, I can say that the leadership and the staff at ATEC are some of the best that I have seen. Despite what other former employees may have said, the company does care quite a bit about them. It’s evident in the level of medical and dental benefits, time off policies, competitive pay and fun activities. People here have a good relationship with their coworkers. I’ve never heard voices raised, witnessed tension between people while working, or seen any evidence of a “toxic work environment”. The employees are not just a number like at larger companies. The owners know and speak to the team members throughout the company almost every day. They host events during and after work to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and to have some friendly competition and get to know one another. Some have left in the time that I’ve been here, but most have been ones who were not willing to work hard and be accountable to quality work. Many current team members have been here for over ten years, and a few will most likely be here until they retire. ATEC is family owned and operated and has been from its inception forty or so years ago. They trust their managers to make good decisions that benefit their individual staffs and the company. The company also has great relationships with well-known clients who are doing some very important work in the areas of aerospace, defense, space exploration, and automotive. Like many of my coworkers, I am happy and proud to work here.
Inconvénients
• Not as flexible as some companies in terms of remote or hybrid work for office workers. Many on staff have to be here – warehouse and lab – in order to do their job, so it would not available to them. • Onboarding and training has been an issue but it is being addressed with new programs.
