Avantages
Good driving system which caters for delays on the road and time spent at customers houses and businesses, especially abnormal loads and destinations. Sometimes you could be stuck or delayed by 30 mins to then be 20 mins ahead towards the end of your shift which helps with stress levels. It is a stress-less job. There are quite a few opportunities for overtime. You're left alone to do the job right and leave when you've completed the runs.
Inconvénients
90% of the time its organised pretty well, just sometimes lacks work force on weekends. Low salary which is roughly around 50p above minimum wage, Maintenance of the vans has gone down hill with cameras malfunctioning and trollies going missing and its a battle to buy more, and then get left with difficult to uses trollies, which can be hard to store with a fully loaded van. Doesn't seem to be a lot of concern for drivers needs and any issues raised don't feel like they get resolved.
