Avantages

ABB is a good company that I really enjoyed working for. My co-workers were very good and I still keep in contact with many of them on a regular basis. The BU that I worked for supported and backed me up when needed. At times you get to work on some excellent projects that make a difference.

Inconvénients

The management of the TA team leaves much to be desired. The lack of Honesty, Integrity, and just being approachable were lacking in abundance. The fear of retaliation was real and if you spoke up there was a real chance that you would be the focus of lies and being undermined by your manager. When someone loses the majority of their tenured and very effective staff in a 4 month period one would think that their manager would ask questions. When the reply given was that those who left were not good employees you as her manager might want to question the reason given. Weak front line managers.

Avantages

- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing systems and cross-functional projects - Can build strong manufacturing and quality engineering experience quickly - Competitive pay and solid benefits for the area

Inconvénients

Work-life balance can be inconsistent depending on department and production demands * Advancement opportunities may feel limited without moving into management or relocating * Communication and management consistency can vary between shifts/departments * Production pressure and changing priorities can create stress in quality-related roles * Some roles may require overtime or schedule flexibility that can be difficult for employees with family responsibilities * Recognition for process improvements and extra responsibilities may not always match workload expectations * Culture can feel more production-focused than employee-focused at times
