As an employee, it helps so much to understand why you are doing things, why things are happening this way, why the leadership took this specific decision etc - Big ownership to team and people in general. You are pushed to be proactive and to bring your topic from A to Z. You want to go challenge a process you feel not effective? Go for it, own the topic, explain your challenges, and provide solutions to fix it! - Strong management: managers are supporting their team by empowering them, and make sure they are evolving within the company - Big ambition: The company aims to be the best on the market, and truly challenge itself to compete every day with other competitors in the industry, while staying true to their values and principles - Games are driven by the players: the company tried to do the best games for them, and not try to find the short term profitability - The games Madbox are doing are also super positive in their approach and production philosophy (broad audience, very warm art, accessible and inclusive...) - A lot of extra benefit on the side, like food, very good health care, nice offices, good salary...
Inconvénients
- I don't see that many to be honest. I never seen or heard such a good environment to take pleasure at work and be in the best conditions to craft nice games. - This environment of true ownership, ambition and care, can probably sometimes be tough and disconcerting for some people, as it's very rare I believe in companies (not only in video game industry)
