      Entretien

Recruitment process consisted of a 5-question questionnaire, followed by a 5 question HireVue video interview, followed by an assessment centre. The entire process took about 2 months from start to finish. I reached the assessment centre stage of the application process. They were recruiting for 2 internship roles, and there were 11 of us at the assessment centre. The day started with an introduction to the current TA team and a brief outline of the company and the internship roles we had applied for. Straight after this we went into an ice breaker session, where they asked us our names and which Warner Bros character best described our personalities and why. Several people did say Hermoine from Harry Potter for this and they mentioned that this was their most common answer- I wouldn't say its necessarily a bad answer as long as you justify it well. However, if you want to stand out, definitely research WB characters beforehand and think about why you're like them. Following this, we were put in pairs and completed a communication skills task where you sat back to back with your partner and had to describe an A4 sheet of paper with 4 abstract images to your partner. Your partner had their own A4 sheet in front of them and had to draw what you described. We did this for about 15 minutes and swapped roles halfway through. The next task was a group task. We were given a sheet of paper that listed about 15 tasks with a table below to input our answers. We had to order each of the tasks in terms of priority and provide a justification for this. We had about 15-20 minutes to discuss with our group and then presented our answers. I believe they're more looking at how well you communicate and work with others in a team rather than your actual answers- they said at the end that they were all important tasks but you just need to justify your reasoning for the order you put them in. After this, we had a break for lunch (Free food was provided). We had the chance to chat with the other candidates as well as the current TA team, who came round the room and spoke to us in groups. The whole atmosphere of the day was very relaxed and the whole team seemed very genuine, friendly and approachable. After lunch we had 20 minutes to complete an individual task, which I believe was to test your attention to detail. We were given a printed out spreadsheet and an A4 sheet with instructions. On the sheet in informed us that the spreadsheet had 12 mistakes, which we had to identify and outline in an email to a team member, as well as recommendations for how to improve on these mistakes. I personally found this task the most challenging out of all of them, and I think I could have planned my time a bit better, although I did find 11/12 mistakes. I'd recommend spending 10 minutes looking for mistakes and 10 minutes drafting your email if you were to get this task, as I left the email to the last minute. The final part of the day was a 'Speed-dating' Interview round with each of the TA team. We had 3 minutes with each member of the team, and the questions varied from role-specific to very general questions. This again was very relaxed, so just try to be yourself as they really just want to get to know you and what you're like! The informed us at the end of the day that we should expect to hear back regardless of the outcome by phone call in a week's time. I unfortunately didn't hear back for 2 and a half weeks, and only got feedback after calling the recruiter myself. The feedback I received was that I was one of the stronger candidates and that I did well on the group task and communication task. They said the candidate they selected performed better than me in the individual task which is why I wasn't selected. Overall, I'd definitely recommend applying for this role regardless of your experience level. You definitely don't need any HR/Recruitment-specific experience, as they were assessing us on general skills and competencies and didn't ask any role-specific questions. Good luck!!
