Commissioned through Service Academy (four-year undergraduate degree engineering school). Interviews for Service Academy admissions complete through state representatives and senators' offices. Selection to Marine Corps community done competitively while attending the Academy. Following graduation, transfer to the Basic Officer's Course in Quantico, VA to complete induction as Military Officer.
