Overall Process:
Step 1: Applied online
Step 2: Followed-up 7 business days later
Step 3: Got an email the day after my follow-up and scheduled a phone interview
Step 4: Phone interview lasted 37 minutes. Original approximate time: 1 Hour
Step 5: Emailed a thank you notice the day after the phone interview
Step 6: Followed-up 7 business days later
Step 7: Two business days after my follow-up I got a response
Phone Interview:
The overall experience was very casual, and informative. The interviewer was very positive throughout the whole session. As a recent college graduate who has little work and interview experience, I found this interview to be enjoyable.
During the Phone Interview:
- Asked if I had any questions to start off
- Mainly asked behavioral questions, very simple and straight forward
- Asked if I was: okay with traveling, legal to work with any employer no sponsor
- Asked what compensation I was looking for
- Asked if I had any questions to end with
Questions Asked: (Not verbatim, but general idea)
- Tell me about yourself (will ask questions to clear any vagueness in your answer)
- Why do you want to work for Tyler Technologies?
- Why should we hire you?
- What is your greatest strength?
- What is your greatest weakness?
- Describe a difficult work situation & what you did to overcome it?
- What is your greatest accomplishment?
Had four separate interviews via zoom. This would have been fine, but after receiving the most generic rejection EMAIL after investing so much time in the interview process, I requested an explanation (so I could better prepare myself for future interviews). I got an equally generic "We don't believe you have enough administrative experience" email. 1) I have 15 years of admin experience. 2) If that was the case, why did I have FOUR interviews? That seems pretty excessive for someone you don't feel has enough experience.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Generic questions such as "Describe a time you made a mistake at work and how you overcame it"

Process took almost 2 months and didn't receive an offer. Applied online, got an email asking to do a phone interview, a week after applying. Then progressed to a online visual interview, but the interviewer was late and never sent the email link to access their video sharing program. I had to follow up 3 times to see if a decision had been made. Very frustrating and took too long.
